Founded in 2004 by André Kemper and Michael Trautmann, the kempertrautmann advertising agency’s client list includes: Audi, Axel Springer (Hamburger Abendblatt), BRAX, Carglass, comdirect Bank, Commerzbank, Dextro Energy, Gigaset Communications, hagebaumarkt, edding, Gaggenau, Görtz, Grohe, Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (Brillance, Taft), Kneipp, Media-Saturn (Media Markt), MTV Networks (Comedy Central), Paulaner, Schwartau (Corny), s. Oliver and Vaillant. The agency employs over 130 full-time staff and, in addition to its offshoot in Berlin, owns the design agency ‘loved’ founded in 2008, with another opening in Düsseldorf on 1 July.

kempertrautmann was voted ‘Global Newcomer Agency of the Year’ in 2009 and ‘Newcomer Agency of the Year’ in 2005. In September 2006 it received the Hamburg Gründerpreis (entrepreneur award) in the category ‘Entrepreneurs’. Michael Trautmann and André Kemper were voted ‘Agency Men of the Year 2007’ by the HORIZONT industry journal.
